With its plug-and-play design, you can pair the range extender with your router by pressing the WPS buttons on both devices. Then, plug the RE230 into a wall outlet where you need addition Wi-Fi coverage. The smart signal indicator lets you know whether it's too far from the router. The wireless signal is secured with 64/128-bit WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK encryption and you can manage your Wi-Fi network and its connected devices using the TP-Link Tether mobile app. The RE30 can also be used as an access point by connecting wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, video game consoles, and more to the 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet port.
